Oh, Brenda, I'm so sorry about the family farm!! I live on a farm (8 acres) that's been in my family for more than 50 years, and I would be devestated if it were taken!! I'm so glad no one was badly hurt in body, but the emotional pain must be terrible. Also sorry for your weather-related pain, I sure can believe that, my fibro acts up bad in stormy weather. Please know you are in my best thoughts & prayers, hope things get better soon for all your family. marji

Oh Brenda Lea, I am glad to hear that you and your husband are fine, so sorry about his mom's place - I relate so much to what you say about your pain before a storm. I go through the same thing. It is better than the weather channel most times. I will be praying for you and the family. *4U

I have alot of back problems, I have had five back surgeries, and as you know the weather has a lot to do with my pain. well Friday I had my daughter to help me babysit with the four other grandkids. I was up all night from the pain. and I told her that night(Friday) that we were in for a bad storm sometime Saturday afternoon. I start hurting from 12 to 48 hours before the weather gets here. And Saturday about 3:00 pm I was hurting so bad I walked the floors and cried. No amount of pain meds helped. and I am no some pretty strong stuff.
I told my husband to check the T.V. channel for weather updates, and their they were all our four state area was in red!! not a good sign.
Please remind my brother-in-laws family. this was a long time family farm that was taken. No one was hurt to bad (in body)that is.

God bless all who have lost loved ones and homes in this storm. love to all, Brenda Lea of Webb City, Mo.
