a fat quarter is a cut of fabric 18x22. There are lots of quilting projects hat call for fat quarters. You can buy them in bundles and get a nice assortment of colors.

yes Jan i have a friend who has a friend who sits and cuts fabric all day (it comes from Florida) to Northern Ontario were i live.It;s very interesting story .But i am soooooooooo blessed to be part of this loop .God is good hugs Carolyn
