Need help from all the cuties to help me make a decision. :) Hubby is going to buy me a membership for 1 of the 2 sites I go to all the time. My choices are here of course and DBS (Cute: 29.95 for 6 months and DBS: 30.00 for 3 months). I can't decide - I love both sites so does anyone have any suggestions???? Thanks and hugs to you all.

This is the only place that I pay for membership. Designs are great as well as the members that contribute toward the site in many ways. The site manager is very generous and helpful.

The only way to go Cute Embroidery...too bad you didn't think of joining sooner as membership was on special, but still a great deal at the current price...Go for it..

Let me applaud your decision. I think Cute Embroidery is the best. I have stitched out some DBS designs that were poorly digitized- not all, but a few BUT, I have never stitched out a bad design here or for that matter at any of the sister sites.;)

That's a tough one. I have a membership at DBS but only when they go half price. I've had a membership here at cute but it lapsed and I haven't the extra money to renew just yet. Either way you get the whole site with membership so whichever you have the least of go for that,Cute's nice because you don't have to wait for your letters to get voted on to get them, which is cool. Have fun and don't forget to hug hubby for the gift!

Thank you so much for all the valuable information. I do have tons and tons of free ones from DBS (yes, Designs by Sick) and I do the search quite often, so I think my library for them is good. I did some searching on designs here at cute and I think I will pick Cute this time around. There are so many that I just love and want to try out. Then who knows, birthday is coming up in a couple months and I might just hint for another membership. :) Again, thank you very much - I can always count on my cutie friends to help me out.

I have had DBS for quite a while (always on a membership sale) and I like that they have lots of different types of designs - including ITH (my favorite). Agree with other comments - sometimes the digitizing is not as quality as I would like. I have also had Cute but not yet tried Amazing (that may be my next one I do). I also have mygardened.com (Yoriko/manami site) and love it. She does lots of FSL designs and that is a good membership (39.96/6mos)if you like FSL.

I also alternate between having memberships between Cute Embroidery and with Amazing Designs, both of which are Ms Veronika's sites. Either one will keep you busy stitching with the best designs possible! DBS have good designs, but aren't quite the quality as here on Cute. There really isn't much of a comparison. Have fun! You won't be disappointed with either Cute or Amazing! IN fact you will be Amazed!

Digitizing on DBS is not the best at times. Prefer the stitch outs here. Alternate memberships between here and Amazing so always have them all.

If DBS is designs by sick he will have a half price special frequently. That's the only time I can join. But - DBC has very unusual items donated by very kind people that you would never find anywhere else. I joined at the Christmas special.

On the other hand I have so many designs that I could be defined as a hoarder! I am trying to not buy anything new and make a point of using what I have. I had to add a 2x larger hard drive in this laptop. When I bought it the man (!!) assured me I would never fill a 30g hard drive .... it only took about 15 months. I do collect things for knitting, sewing and quilting as well. I love punch needle too - the simpler redwork designs frequently make a good outline for them.

I made the decision to join Cute. I don't post often but I enjoy the site. Membership is a better price and there are specials on renewal. I have renewed until Sept. At Christmas Cute had many design packs free for members. I had a DBS membership at one time and did not revew.
