Great project and a perfect tip to use hair clips.
Very nice. I haven't seen this type of project before. Neat!
I love it, bet it took a lot of stabilizer?
Hugs Pam.
For both sides, I used two pieces of stabilizer - three each might not have been a bad idea. Took a while to stitch!! Thanks, Pam - hugs to you, Laura*
Laura, this is gorgeous! Love the color you used.
Thank you, Terre! I am not the best when it comes to FSL.!! Hugs to you, Laura*
This is lovely Laura - I did some square ones for my ladies at my Christmas lunch last year. They are time consuming, I agree. Love Chris
Chris, it did take a long time to do and I am not an expert in FSL - that is for sure!! Maybe practice is what I need!! Hugs to you, Laura*
I've made these and had Alice,embroidery-allsorts.com
make me a plain fsl circle so I could add different designs. FSL butterflies, etc
Where do you purchase the mirrors from? This is so unique, love it, but need to find mirrors first. Thanks for sharing, betty
I found the 3inch mirrors at a craft store. I did however, in that store, find them in the artificial flower department. They were under $2.00 each.
laura, this is lovely.
Shirlene!! Coming from the FSL expert - I appreciate it! I love this design - it is pretty and very useful. I hope to make some for family Christmas gifts!! I thought it was a bargain too! Hugs to you, Laura*
Here are some other photos.
It's lovely. I have seen other designs similar to this (mirror covers), but they were quilted and had embroidery designs on them. Love the lace design you used!!
Here is Urban Threads design - notice, it was only $3.00!!
