I don't remember at the moment where i got this pattern,I'll have to go back and take a look in my files. I tried to take a picture with a candle inside to show. Thanks for looking. Denise

I love it. It's a shame not to be gone until the end of the achievement because it is a very beautiful model. I hope someday it will be over.

Does this have to be stitched on Organza or can it be stitched as just free standing lace?

This says in the Instructions: Embroider out on organza with two layers of water soluble Vilene. Remove from the hoop and rinse under running hot water for approximately 2 minutes. Air dry and press with a warm iron. Cut away excess organza close to the stitching without cutting the stitching. Stitch panels wrong sides together along outer edge using a zigzag stitch in the same colour

She is very successful with your lantern and decorate your table taste, but what tea candles? What does it look like? I think in France they carry a different name.
Thank you and congratulations.

Thank you everyone on your kind words. I just measured it, stands from bottom to tip in center is 6 3/4 inches tall and from the pointy sides from tip to tip is aprox. 4 3/4 inches across. I'm looking through all my files and usb sticks, still haven't found it. I'll go through all my disks too. As soon as i find where i got this from i'll post it.

I use tea candles to light, (never leave it alone when using real candles) I remember it took sometime to stitch out each panel, and this is when i first got my machine.. trying out new ideas back then.

You Lantern is lovely.
This would work great for the Flameless battery operated candles or tea lights.
How large is the lantern?
Would love to know where you found the design or pattern for it.
Lovely work.

this is great also for using up some old sheer fabrics from old curtains... I use tea candles, and the small one in shot glass. Those shot glass i got at sally ann, great idea for tiny candles.
