my mother-in-law was in a nursing home until she died in December of last year..We finally got back to this nursing home to visit the workers there a year later... In visiting, I found out they needed walker bags for there residents... so I volunteered to make some of them. Got two of them done tonight after we got home...very easy to do, and I know they will really appreciate them... feels good to do something for charity... they always say it is better to give than to receive...

I will probably make at least ten to twenty of them.

What a great idea! Probably a bottom weight(heavier cottom) would be a good fabric to use. Thanks for the tip!

Wonderful...It is better to give then to receive. My gift is my time....I volunteer for hospice. I go sit with my special friends...or sometime they just want something simple at the store...Last one wanted a pair of nail clippers and tweezers and another just wanted some fruit. So little ask for but means so much to them.
