Ok, here goes. I just purchased Embird, printed the manual and sat at my computer last night to try and figure it out. Then I noticed the manual prefix is alphabetized. So that means that it is not starting at the beginning. could someone help me with the very first step after it is registered? I need to know where to find a design and how to upload it.

Hugs,
mj

If you want to start you might go for some free (and good) tutorials on the clipartopolis site, see link. There are a number on Editor as well as on Studio.
You can find your designs in the files you downloaded them into and open them by going to that file either in Manager or in Editor, in Explorer and double clicking on them.

I'd love to get Embird and learn to digatize (spelling lol) but not so sure my old brain could do it. lol anyway I know a man who bought the Brother digatizing program and said it was very hard so bought Embird and says it is so much easier. Good luck with you new venture. Hugs Judy

search "Embird Tutorials" at you tube if the link does not work -
there are many turorials on the net and on the embird home ite too, what are you starting with ? Manager, Editor ?
you tube "Printing Templates in Embird" search is a tutorial from kenny kreations, and so on one takes you to the next

If you have installed Embird and set the preferences, then just double-clicking on an embroidery design (mine are filed in 'My Docs' under subject headings) it should open it, firstly in Embird Manager, and then you click on Embird Editor to do any editing, merging, etc. There are Yahoo Embird groups that are full of advice, otherwise you can purchase tutorials from several places, including -

The secretsof tutorial are all but one using older versions of Embird, which might be confusing.
