Well, I bit the bullet and placed an order with Metro. I got 18 spools for $21 including shipping. That would have cost me about $70 where I buy. I sure hope it works in my 780D Brother.

I didn't order just one to try.. like I had planned because the sale goes off today.
I didn't order bobbins - which I wanted because I couldn't decide whether to get L or A for my 780D Brother. The ones I'm using are thicker/taller than the ones I use on my regular machine.or my old White emb machine...Just couldn't decide.

Now that you have the thread...go for the bobbins! My Baby Lock Ellisimo uses the Class 15/A plastic bobins...and the Metro one's work great...and a fantastic price!

How often do they put these sales on? If I like the thread I would be purchasing them by the box... The boxes were all sold out yesterday.

I love this thread and both my Babylock and old New Home / Janome love it too. I hope your machine likes it as well.

good luck with your thread purchase, I also have indulged in the metro thread and never had a problem. As for the bobbins, I'm a sucker for the fil-tec, works great on my husqvarna designer 1, good luck, let us know how they work......

For the bobbins - do you have the little bobbin pin (it looks like a top hat)? If so you can get the shorter ones and use the bobbin pin (or you can buy a bobbin pin and get them too). Otherwise you would get the taller ones. I had the pin (the NEBS I bought from the dealer were the shorter ones) and I bought the shorter ones and they work beautifully in my machine (780D and 6000D)

Thank you... I'm pretty sure the ones I use are the taller ones. No, I don't have a "top hat pin"... never even heard of it.
Nebs are what I use in my old White emb. machine and the ones I've been using in the new Brother are taller than Nebs.. so I guess A would be the ones to use from Metro.... Sure wish I had ordered them with my thread... would save on shipping.

They had a flat rate of $9 and a few cents, (already forgot) but I order a lot of other items from places and that is not a bad price, in my opinion, and it still costs me about $40 less than the thread would cost at my store.

Hi MJDG, I don't think you'll regret your purchase. They work great on my machine, which is also a Brother. If they don't, how about this, I'll buy them from you for $21, if you will mail them to me! That way you would only be out the shipping. That's how much faith I have in their threads! Maybe I should be one of their sellers! he he Jan Can't wait to see what you think......

How nice of you! I'm hoping it works because the price is amazing!
BTW... might take you up on the offer if my machine hates it! HA
