Someone gave a post yesterday about Casandra's Embroidery for a FREE font. Has anyone found the letter J? With the clue I can not find it. This is the last one to make it complete. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance Hugs Peg.

Go to her site and then go to the free Orchid font page. On the right side of the page you will see "New Designs". Go down to "All Photo Word Books". Click on that. Then go through the word books until you find the "words" you are looking for. Hope this helps you. Good luck!

She has not been keeping up with the alphabet (orchid) because she has been having medical issues. She has osteoarthritis and now a torn meniscus that needs surgery, so she has not had "free" designs as her main focus.

She sent the yahoo group a letter after Christmas and sounds in good spirits. Says she is bursting with new ideas-all that time off to think!

Glad to hear she is doing better. Sounds like her body may have taken a break but her mind hasn't. LOL Creative minds never take breaks, I guess. Wish I had one.

I think Cassandra got upset because everyone was trying to get her to hurry up and finish that alpha..she put up a very STRONG post about it and since then I have seen no new letters. that has been more than a year ago. She has already started and finished the Jungle animals(alpha since then) but I have seen nothing new on the orchids in the past yr or maybe longer. Dealing with the public can get hard at times. I was in the craft business for several yrs and some people can get down right nasty if they do not get what they want when they want it, even though it is free. I have checked it several times but refrained from saying anything until now. It is a very pretty font but I have no idea if she will ever finish it.

I found it. Forgive me but I am a newbie and not realize she was going thru a lot of medical issues. I hope she gets better. I know I read something that it would be taken down in a few days.

greysewist is right. Keep looking in the photo books. However I think her hint is for the I. Now if we only could get hints and the letters that are still missing.

I had collected J ages ago and had trouble finding it again as it's been so long, but I mostly found them in the photo books - there's your first hint. Prepare to be scared. Be very scared, LOL

Thanks, That is where I mostly found them too. I have a project for MIL. This is righht up her alley.

I was also collecting that one for ages and thought it may have been forgotten about so will have to go for another look. Thanks for the reminder.

I stopped going there since no letter has been added for about 1 year. Nothing has changed on the site so I am hesitating to order anything from there. When you said the J would complete it what did you mean because I don't see a complete alpha.

I had found all but the letter if the Orchid Collection but the letter J. That is the only one that I need. Even my husband has looked. No luck.

I forgot to tell you it is the Orchid Alphabet.
