Thank you for putting pat 2 up for us. I cut 2 inches each side but I can see you need to cut off more then that. I beleive if I take 3 to 4 inches off the back I will be ok.

You have to make it so it will stay onto your Steering Wheel, but also that you just need to catch the bottom, which probably isn't really necessary.

This is the pic of the back of my steering wheel covers. The white is the back of the fabric. The two black pieces are the sections that I sew in to keep the steering wheel cover on the steering wheel. Please do not drive away before talking it off..

No wonder mine was so tight - I didn't know you only made little pieces. I made them to the centre! Poor Meg, when I gave it to her, I had to really pull and push it to get on. I now know! Love Chris

Chris, The lot I have just made, I made the back sections even smaller, but that was only to get everything out of the fabric that I had on hand.

they look great-if you have trouble selling, could you do a few 'football' type logos etc

Great idea but you have to get permission to use the Football Logos here in Aust and that cost a fortune.

Terrible day at the Market. It was so windy that I had to pin everything down. Then it would rain. Even tough it was a horrible day I did better than I expected. Have sold the Butterfly. Top Right Corner.

Possible could have done a better job with the photography. But they were already packed for the market so I had to rush the photo.

Yes I do love her designs. Some I have a few problems as they are a little large, but I have this little angel who does resize them for me.

These are great. A while back you didn't know about the size so what size did you end up making?

I made a cardboard template so I don't know what size it is. Think it is 17 and a half inches in diameter.

Thank you Chris gave me more information and all I could remember was you didn't use elastic which I wanted to avoid. It breaks down in the heat fast. Have an old beach towel I'm going to use.

I love these...is this your pattern? Could you share it? Living in Florida the sun really heats up the stearing wheel

Christmas 2010 I got into my car after it was parked in the sun. My steering wheel was so hot I could not touch it. Decided to do something about it, so came up with this. The front is 17 and a half inches in diameter. On the back I have two sections. One to fit over the top of the Steering Wheel and another piece sewn onto the bottom just to make it catch on the wheel. You take them off before you drive away.

After my market - possibly Monday, I will take a photo of the back. They are already packed into the car.

Thank you, I hope you do well at your market. I found the old post and got the size. Now all I need is to get the material. I have red flowered quilted material but want black or gray.
