The quality of the gifts given and received by the Secret Santa members is fantastic. I had been thinking that I'd join, but am a bit daunted by the creations!!Well done all.

I hade the same feeling too. I just got my sewing machine last August, so how could I compete with all those experienced people ? But like a cutie wrote ; thake the jump, everything with is made from out of the heart is special.,and that's what all these gifts are : out of the heart and so special !
And yes thake the advise : start early , 'cos when christmas comes near, there are so many other things you need to do extra, (you want to sew so things for people to say thanks, something to put in your tree or on your table,...)
I will not browse my eyebrowses anymore when cuties start taking in September about Christmas.
And you know, if there is any question you have, plenty of people will help you here.

Don't be daunted, just do what you like to do. I'm sure an idea will pop into your head. It is a lot of fun sending off your gift and then awaiting one in return. And I agree that all these gifts are fabulous and I would be proud to receive any of them. Take the plunge! Nan W

well youhave a few months to practise and you do get some info on who is the recipient so that aprt is done.
just then think what you your rself would like to recieve and go a head. I love practiacal items and none christmasy stuff. The gift i recieved is in everyday use when i go out, as my camera comes with me in my tote and The little owl bag is just so neat and my Secret Santa did a great job and i love it to bits. and the camera slides in and is then protected.
Take the plunge next time and who and what knows what you will get as a surprise.
Wonder if we could have a Secret Easter Bunny. just to give you a taster.
Sue OH SUE what you think. annie in the UK.

Hi Vicki,

It doesn't matter what you make, as long it is made by you. The idea is 1 gift for each SS and also for a person's birthday. To keep costs down it was agreed to have 1 gift. Some of us make a few more little things, but that's up to you. Love and blessings Chris.

P.S. I reckon over there in S.Aus you will need something nice and cold - I can't believe the heat that S.A.'s been having.

I feel exactly the same. I love seeing the gifts but I would have no idea what to do.

Ah but that's surely part of the reason for having as many pics posted as possible -to give you ideas and inspire you!

Send a PM to Sue Dewsbury and take the plunge and join in. There is lots of time to think what to do and helpful comments as to what your SS likes/dislikes. I had fun in making and receiving, so come on in and join the fun
