Another step on the learning curve

Inspired by amazinggraces question on mega or multi hoop I felt challenged to get to know my big (5x12) multihoop. Did some research and after that, asked Martine if I could modify her DBC oval design for the multihoop Well it worked out, I can split designs now and learned how this big frame works even if my stitch area is limited to 5 x 7 the design can be bigger. Now I need to go on learning the tricks on splitting with more accuracy and using a stiffer stabilizer to avoid shifting the material while the marking points with loooong jumps are stitched. Thanks to mops and amazinggrace for my new project and thanks for looking.

Congratulations on a big step forward. I haven't tried to do that yet. Still learning Embird. It is a great program but a real challange for the older generations like me. Concentration isn't my best asset.

This is beautiful, can you do it with any embroidery machine?

You did it! Congratulations! Now you know how to do it, it will be so nice to split designs that are bigger than your sewing field. You don't have to ask for permission to split a design as you don't alter a thing - only make it possible to use it in the hoops you have.

Congratulations! Splitting doily designs gives you enthusiasm as you are now able to embroider larger designs, previously thought impossible to achieve! Well done! Hugs, Lidia
