My second Toile afghan - I did this in two days, or a little more. Finished this morning and ready to wrap now. I love these afghans, and hope to do more - but certainly at a later date. All designs are from EmbLibrary - I mixed toile designs to make the 20 squares needed to complete. These designs are all along the Christmas and Santa theme

Fantastic job! Toile designs look so easy, are they just like redwork?

Thanks, Bonnie

Oh, they are not too "Wee". They are 52" x 60", and each square I stitched in was about 7" x 7". I used my 150x150 hoop, and had to adjust nearly every designs. But, I love they way it turned out. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Beth, this is stunning work - how did you manage to keep everything so straight. And where did you get the blank afghans.

If you look - you will see the markers, as this was taken before I washed it. I then fix stitched the block to the washaway stabilizer. I purchased these afghans from JoAnn's and Michaels. I used the 50% off coupons, as they are a little pricey, but make a very nice gift. I also got them $10 cheaper at Michaels, and took my receipt back to JoAnn's and they matched it. We all need to save where we can. LOL
