why am I being charged for designs when I signed up to be a member?

Did you also buy a subscription?
Being a member is not the same as buying a subscription and some people get confused about this. Membership is free, but to obtain all the designs you need to purchase a 6 month subscription, which is on sale right now.

You may still download the daily freebie and ALL the designs created by other members, available in the Designs by Cuties section. You'll find the link at the top right of nearly every page.

You may be hitting the wrong button. On the page where you have selected your designs, look for a button that says Free download for members on the right, below the normal 'design added, view cart'. Click on that green download button and it should then ask you to select your format.

Don't use add to cart. Instead click on the picture and on the right side you will find a green download button. Click on that and choose your format and it should download. Welcome to Cute
