Absolutely brilliant - will definitely be making some for Christmas. Thank you. PS How do you make the Christmas tree cookies Are they made the same ingenious way!!!!*4u
No I made them from a recipe -
125g butter at room temperature
1/2 cup (115g) caster sugar
1/4 cup (60ml) milk
1tsp vanilla extract
1 and a 1/2 cups (225g) self-raising flour
1/2 cup (70g) custard powder
Silver and gold sparkling cachous, or sprinkles.
Preheat oven to 180C. Line baking trays with non-stick paper. Use an electric beater to beat the butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Beat in themilk and vanilla extract. Fold in the flour and custard powder. Press the dough into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to reest. Divide the dough into manageable pieces. Roll out a portion on a non-stick piece of baking paperto about 1cm thick. I used Christmas cookie cutters. Decorate with the little silver balls etc. Bakr for 10 mins or until light golden brown. Cool for 5 mins before putting them on a wire rack to cooll completely. These are really easy!

SORRY ABOUT THE DOUBLE BITS OF POSTING - THIS BL...Y HAVING TO RESBUMIT ALL THE TIMES IS GIVING ME THE IRITS! LOVE CHRIS
Thank you Chris. I will be busy making these. Thank you for taking the time to give me this recipe. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Love Lyn
Totally adorable! Can't wait to find the trees! Thanks for sharing, christine LLDS!
Those are soooooo cute! Bet my grand kids would love em! I see the 2 sizes of marshmellows, nose a red candy, I'm going to look for star pretzels! We don't have reindeer here either. But we do have deer meat for supper on Christmas Eve & laugh about it being Rudolph! Course we didn't say this until the kids were older. We have deer, just no reindeer! Son slipped a cherry tomatoe on the plate with the meat one year & then started yelling about it really being Rudolph! (again, all adults persent)
Adorable. I am always amazed at how people create such new things all the time!
They look not only cute, but tasty! I bet kids of ALL ages would enjoy those! Thanks for sharing the pic!
Angel

Yummy!! It doesn't look like I will even have time to bake this year, but not complaining...I have my Graycie!!! We are still hanging in there...

How adorable! Look good enough to eat... they are so cute! Suzannennenn
Would love to make some of these but you know where the leftovers would go. I have made the Butternut snaps with either fruitmince and chocolate covering or Caramel and pipe cream onto the top odf the Caramel. They went down well.
Chris, they LQQK yummy and what a cute way to share something with others - just adorable.
O.K. everyone - the biscuits are Butternut snaps (by Arnotts a biscuit company over here) You put them in the oven for 3 minutes on 150C and whilst still warm make a dent in the middle. I then put in Caramel filling (Nestles make it already in a can) and place a marshmallow on the caramel. To put the red nose I used chocolate icing and used a M&M crispy one not peanut and then used the chocolate icing for the eyeballs. I then used mini star Pretzels for the antlers. Voila! Love Chris
OH, yummy, all my favourite things. I'm going to end up the size of a barn before Christmas is over. Especially with all my stress eating. LOL!!!
Thank you for this great idea , I will make some of these for my little ones , even I can make these and I don't bake .
Oh my gosh, they all come from ready made stuff but I have not seen star pretzels here. You are a genius!
adorable eatable so cute, thanks for sharing, they realy make me smile - all day.
what kind of icing and what kind of "glue" makes marschmellows look that good?
Can I come dancing tomorrow, pretty please?
Oh Darn, just remembered I have to go to c Clinic tomorrow. Chris, they look fantastic!!!! hugs n love, me
Very adorable and yummy looking! The children will love them! Great job!
Chris, those are just adorable... and I bet they taste really really good, too. I've just got to ask... what did you use for the red noses? Are they gumballs? I'm loving the star shaped pretzels for antlers... a very clever idea!
These are just brilliant Chris. They look so like reindeer. Love them - well done. Sarah.
