Secret Santa updates. Two weeks into Advent and two weeks to go! I think most people should be sending their gift about now. I've sent mine and a few people have emailed me to say they have too. Would you like to post here if your gift has been dispatched? (It does help me to keep track!)

Thank you to my Secret Santa - my package arrived today. Yes, I saw where it said not wrapped inside - so I left it all sealed up - Christmas will not get here soon enough! Thanks again.

Nice looking visitor. Looks to be the same breed as the one on the floor behind me, only this one is mostly black -with white socks -hence her name is Sox. Blue is the most popular colour for greyhounds to be adopted -black goes last :(

I have received a very large parcel from a country overseas where I only know one person! Thank you so much *secret* Santa! It's going to be very very difficult waiting until the 25th December to open this one!

Husband posted my SS gift on Monday & hopefully it should have got there the next day.We have had the flu for the pas 10 days, such a rotten strain, didn't want to go anywhere.I received mine last week & posted in the community section.

The 'bugs' are really dreadful hanger onerers at the moment. Sorry you've been afflicted. I'm doing a few gargles with salty water myself for my throat. It seems to come and go. Just go, would be good!

My Secret Santa gift arrived today! Yeah! I had to shake it! Not that that would tell me anything! I will be a good girl and wait! This is my first in over a decade! Thank you Cuties! Merry Christmas! PS. mine was also received!

There was a parcel waiting for me when I got home from work today. I had a quick glance and was rushed away by Twm and my husband produced a much needed cup of tea. It dawned on me about 20 mins later what my parcel is. It is waiting to the 25. Thanks SS it looks interesting

My package arrived today! No chance of me peeking - the package is 5 hours
away at my new (temporary home) and I'm stuck here until the moving van shows up on Friday! No fair! :-( I don't even get to "shake it!" LOL Thanks so much, Secret Santa - I can't wait to open it!

I'm sure our most efficient coordinator will pass that info on to your recipient. Things vary such a lot in how long they take that we need to be a little tolerant of delays, too. It'll be a lovely surprise when it gets there.

Can't show everyone or it wouldn't be a secret.I'll just say, that I am so proud of it I'd like to put it up in Embroidery Library, but of course, I can't do that either. :-) LOL!!!!!!

Just some reminders as I know some of you are getting twitchy!
1. Not everyone will be at home over Christmas to receive or open their gift so they cannit post here until they get home.
2. Some people are struggling to get their gifts sent off in time for a whole variety of reasons. Some I know about and have passed on a request for patience to the recipient but I can't read minds and there may be more out there with problems. If you haven't yet received your gift please be patient and philosophical.
3. You may well have opened your gift but please don't post pictures until I set the ball rolling! Having said that please post a picture as soon as you can - it is only fair to your Secret Santa to show everyone else.

Had a knock on my front door at about 7.30 this evening, and it was a cutie pie with a lovely parcel, and she said it was my Secret Santa gift from my SSanta. Thank you so much SS, will open it on the 25th. Will have my SS delivered on Monday. So excited.

My SS was quick and I've received my gift! I'm not peeking yet either... but it sure is tempting!

I have sent my gift out a week or so back as well.

Sent mine about the 7th,

SS arrived Friday....can I contain myself....I think I can, I think I can....only pressie under my tree at the moment...have to do wrapping today but still busy sewing gifts..my list gets bigger each year as family love receiving my gifts & I love that they do

I sent my SS gift off on Monday and today I got one from somewhere in Texas. I am going to have a very hard time trying not to peek. I need to put it out of sight because it keeps calling my name. Thanks Secret Santa.

My SS gift arrived just now. I don't have a tree up yet to put the package under though. I have been so sick with bronchitis that I have had no energy to do any decorating. The kids are coming over on Sunday afternoon with a tree. Hope to feel better by then.

That was a really good idea of your Secret Santa's to use your address twice -as long as it's correct and gets there, of course. I went through my address book to find an address that I knew someone at and I could use. It crossed my mind that we could all use a different cuties address that we may already have handy. It needs to be a valid address just in case the delivery doesn't work out.

Mailed it Monday

Haven't finished making mine yet, so it may arrive late.
Just too much going on to really concentrate on sewing so I hope my recipient will understand not all of us are so organised.
OK, now I'm getting back to it and hopefully get it finished today, as long as the thunderstorm doesn't cause a power blackout. Aaaargh!!!

Sent off my SS on Thursday, went to ER, spent two days in the Cardio Unit (had nothing to do with the stress of making something for an unknown person that hopefully they will enjoy), home now, doing well, looking forward to the unveiling of all the wonderful gift inspirations.
