just wondering why??? : ... good people take a back seat to bad people ... good people get their hearts hurt more... good people believe things they are told.. good people get smacked in the face because they try to help people that say all the things good people wanna hear...???? I am thinking that after this go round.. i SHOULD NOT be the one to interview new tenants !!!!

Jo, I don't know that it is that good people take a back seat to bad people - but more that they can be taken advantage of - because they are good - but you don't have to be taken advantage of - if you do your homework - take care of business - do what is right for you and your belongings. And maybe you should not be the one to interview new tenants - who says that you should? Do whatever you think you can do - if it doesn't work - get some help - if you were doing this for another - how would you do it? What would you ask - what would you say - to make sure that your got the best tenant for them to have in their home? Who says that if you ask someone a question - that they have trouble answering - that they might answer with or without a response that you might want to hear or not? The thing is - this is your place - hold out - for someone that will live in it - the way that you want them to live in it. Even if it takes a longer period of time.
