look at my take on the fantastic cards that lique created for us. this is four of the set hooped up with very thin interfaceing with a sheet of plain copy paper laid on top and then white satin basted onto the whole the design was then sewn out and once removed from the hoop i fringed the edges, and trimed around the paper and interfaceing. A little colour was added and then finally small amounts of white glue was put into the corners of the back of the sewn design and then placed onto the single fold card stock. this is the first of 50 that will find there way into the hospice shop. many thanks to you for thinking of others lique

i hope i have done them justice annie in the uk

crayons used to add the colour are simply good quality childrens wax crayons. Just a very little preasure needed. I also use the crayons to dye cotton fabric (or any fabric that will stand the heat of the iron ). simply colour the fabric as desired and then press between kitchen paper towels till the wax is removed.

They look awesome. Maybe she used this little sponge for the fingertip? It is for scrapbooking but I'm sure it will work also with textilcolor.

They look very pretty with the added colour and the shiny satin. I made 30 so far, all for my own use I must admit. What sort of crayon/pencil/paint did you use for the colouring?
