I usually add up my costs, and time and see what that looks like. Peek online for comparable items, too. That will let you know how much you can get out of it.;)
wish I could b of help to you shirlener, have made plenty but always 4 myself or the kids never sold any. Made a bunch once & donated to N.H. 4 them to sell 4 money 4 activities but they raffled them off. Maybe someone will come up with an answer, Find a craft show & see what they r charging. *4u
lbrow, thank you dear one. I will look around. I was hoping the ladies that make pillows for sale - would give me some help - but guess not. Hehehe! *4U
Wish I could help, Shirlene! Count the price of the leather, stabilizer, thread, machine wear, and time. Spread the cost of the design over the number of pillows. These will be expensive, because of the cost of the leather, but if he wants this kind of elegant unique work, he should be willing to pay for it. I sure hope someone with more experience can give you more guidance. Good luck, dear one! Marji
Marji, thank you - I never thought of doing it that way - I was just thinking that I needed a price to sell them for - Hehehe! I guess I was going about it the wrong way - Hehehe! *4U
