Is there a free program that opens .rar extension files? ;)

Yes if you go to download.com on the attached link, scroll down the page on the righthand side you will see the links to download WinZip & WinRAR. Winzip often won't not open RAR files but WinRar can open WinZip files, some people find WinRar easier to use than WinZip. cheers, M

Try http://www.freeware-guide.com/ They have a few programs that look like they would work.

Winzip will work. :-)

If you mean a file extractor like winzip. You can try winzip for free at winzip.com. Don't know what the usage limit is, though.

I have no idea, but I'm sure someone will come along and give you the answer. ;)
