Fleece blanket for Project Linus. This one is a butterfly also from Embroidery Library done so the back would look well also.

Love the colors as well as the edging on the blanket... how's that done? Project Linus must be a children's charity that provides warm fuzzies for kids. Good job!

Yes, it is a children's charity. The edge looks like crochet. Cut strips 1 inch wide and 2 inches deep. Fold up not quite half way and snip a small slach. Then pull the one on the right through the left one and continue around. Tie the last ones together. To get the full directions visit the web site for Project Linus. Will have to remember that the applique looks good when both sides are visible. Like the edge you put on the blanket.
