Terri, this is so true. My 17 year old grand son has just left home to live with his dad - this has caused a lot of heartbreak all round. I was 32 when I lost my mum - I still miss her.
I have read with tears your saying I lost my darling younger sister yesterday and would give anything to have just one day with her again spoke to her at 10 oclock and she died at 12.10 heart is breaking
I am 70 now and I would dearly love to have my Mum with me now.
My 21 year old daughter has always been "Mummy, I love you". My 12 year old daughter on the other hand...xx
How true - The other day my the kids turned around and said - you know you are not so clever as I thought you were. I am loosing admiration at a fast pace now. As for my own mom - it breaks my heart to see how a strong lady can become so fragile so quickly.
It scares me & makes me sad. My mom is fading like a beautiful rose, but I still have her near me and I can still enjoy her company
This a very reminder to us all especially with the holidays upon us.
I have never missed anyone so much in my life, as my precious "Mama", who passed in '85. And yes, as I am almost 70 years, I can truly say, "I would give up everything to have my mom here with me!"
Those who still have "Mom", let her know each day
how much she means to you! No one loves you more than Mom!
Hugs,
Angel
