Not emb., but who knows of a good place to go to swim with the dolphins. It's one of my two dream vacations (the other one being able to go to Australia. My husband won a little bit of money and I've paid off all credit cards and a small bank loan and some other small things taken care of ahead - and now I think I can still get a little bit of heaven vacation for us.

lotto western 649 - not a big one, but big enough to ease the burden (wish it had been a little bigger so we could buy a house and get out of this apt.).

Congratulations on your financial gain! Should I ever be so lucky, I would pay off all indebtedness first, too! Just a vacation from "debt" would be heavenly to me!! LOL Enjoy your vacation, wherever you choose to go! I think dolphins are beautiful creatures!

Monkey Mia in Western Australia you can swim with the wild dolphins or Seaworld in Queensland. You must visit Queensland and visit the Great Barrier Reef, if you come to Australia, in fact there are things most states that you must visit, Uluru, in The Northern Territory, NSW has Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Victoria has Melbourne and is only a short skip over to Tasmania and South Australia has Adelaide and the Barossa Valley, great wine country.

Hi, we have a place near where we live. Look at www.bairdbay.com It shows a little video of the swimming with dolphin and seals. My brother has been on the tour and loved it.

That would really be awesome - but will prob. need a little more to be able to afford to go that far - partly because when I get to go there I want to make it worthwhile and go for maybe a month!

I took my girls to Hawaii where there is a dolphin show and a chance to pet them. I'm not sure if you can actually swim with them but you do go in the pool. It's the same place they used in the movie 50 First Dates.

I wouldn't mind going to Hawaii, but my main objective is to swim with the dolphins, so I'd have to make sure I can do that before I decide on a place to go.
Thanks for the link.

At Monkey Mia in Australia, people have close contact with dolphins and are able to feed them. You may be able to fulfil both dreams in one trip!

blueeyedblonde by blueeyedblonde 04 Nov 2011

Wouldn't that be awesome! Only thing is that's a trip that I'd want to take a month to go on. I don't think there's that much extra in the budget - might have to check it out more and see how much I can squeeze (hehe). Thanks.

I love dolphins - our place really shows it! I have them everywhere! When friends go somewhere - if they bring something for someone, I get some king of dolphin. They are so beautiful and graceful - totally awesome.

Thanks - I'm sure I'll find just the right place and that it fits into the budget as I want it all paid for - no charging (prob. have to use cr. card to actually pay for it to start with).
