Thursday the Houston International Quilt show opens.to the public. Is anyone going?

My 3 sisters went but didn't ask if I would like to go. I'm pouting and thinking of "one ups" for them.

I AM! I AM! Yes I know I am shouting. I am sooooo excited. I live near Dallas and my husband, a friend and I are getting up at 4 tomorrow morning to drive to Houston. We are spending the night and staying Saturday too!!!! I am sooooo excited. Let me know if any one else is going. We can meet somewhere, have lunch together etc. Becky

Would love to go and it isn't that far away but health problems are in the way of making the trip this year. Hopefully next year I'll make it there again.

A lady in our Vintage Car Club here in Australia was recently talking about one of her quilts being displayed at this quilt show. I am not a quilter myself, she does not live locally but her daughter does. I will have to make more enquiries. She does beautiful work, all by hand. Marg
