I love the front porch, doors and pumpkins. You did a great job. I really need to redo my front porch (along with the rest of my house).
Are you trying to get rid of a little bit of moss or black slime type fungus from your cement? Just put bleach in a spray bottle and mist it, let it set and then scrub a bit with a nylon brush. It should clean it right up. To neutralize the bleach (this works for clothing blunders too), pour on some hydrogen peroxide. It will stop the bleach action and kill the chlorine odor. I do not know what it will do to your plants, but with the mister, you won't be using a lot. The misting way also works for the plastic outdoor furniture. I have a rubber type boat docking coating on my deck, since we live in such a wet climate. The bleach mist works great to clean off the moss. Good luck.
No mold. It's stained from before I lived here. I think it was from plants in pots that were watered there. It's mostly a white stain.
Lovely entrance way. Your doors came out beautiful.
Now you are ready for the winter holidays. Lucky you! I just got done bringing in my 56 giant plants into my Sun Room. That was a job and a half. But they are beautiful and I can't give them up. HEHEHE!
Now all I have to do is power wash my front porch & decorate. I'm slow. Missed Halloween. Looking forward for Thanksgiving. Happy Holiday season to you and family. Hugs, Rachel
56 plants?? Sun room?? I would be in heaven!! I don't even get a ray of sunshine in my house where I live due to the forest of evergreen trees. That sound wonderful!
Very cute pumpkins and i just love your new front doors, they are beautiful!
Hugs Lee
Wow That new door looks wonderful. You also have some master carvers in your house.
Love your nnew white doors and the pumpkins are cute too! :D
I get rainbows inside the house when the sun shines through! I was hoping for that when I picked the glass.
Love your doorway and the pumpkin carvings. Likewise, my DH uses a TSP and bleach solution.
Hugs,
Jacqueline
Very Creative!
When using the TSP make sure you have on rubber gloves, Dilute according to directions.....pour it on scrub in with a stiff broom or brush. Let it sit and then rinse very well the step and surrounding area.
