Do you get the feeling that this country is swirling down the drain? Our governor just announced that she is not running for another term because the state is in such a mess. Thing is, she has been in for two terms, so I'm really wondering who she is expecting to blame this on. The rats are jumping ship. Sad.
In the non-political arena, I think this would be a fabulous design for a child's t-shirt. The adults would get it, and the kids would just think it was cool. :)

Politics is dirty business and the more $ these politicians find in the coffers, the happier they are and the more they spend. They forget that we put them in office to 'solve' problems and work within reasonable budgets. They go in 'poor' and come out 'rich' and full of amendities that we don't have or get. If any normal person must live within their means, why can't our elected officials do the same and that is from the White House down to the local governments. This country is headed down the drain big time and no one has the 'guts' to want to reform for the good of all. We will need another 'Roosevelt' to bring the country back to its 'whole' again.

I just hate that. Same company will sell their products at the same price and expect the Americans they put out of work to be able to afford them. I don't understand how shipping back and forth and problems with quality control can still cost less than Made in the USA. Hope you find other work quickly. I try to buy everything made here but it gets harder and harder. Try buying a toaster these days. Good luck to you.

Thank you so much for the design. Very well done! Sorry to hear of your job being moved out of the country. If this country keeps doing that, there won't be many quality items anymore. :( *4U

...just read in today's newspaper that this employer
Whirlpool" also cancels jobs in southern Germany -
altogether worldwide 5000 jobs. It is a very sad story
what happens in our "new" world.
But you are a great digitizer and would be very successful selling the designs I think
Thanks again - Maria

sorry to hear about your job. Hopefully you will find another soon. Please keep designing. This may be your new carrier. I would have paid $1 to $5 for this design.

maybe we should boycott these companies and not buy their products and let the people in the other countries that get our jobs buy the products they make. we can still find a lot of things made in the USA. I think it is time to start reading where the stuff comes from but now they use misleading information to try and fool us by saying an American company made the merchandise. lets put Americans first.

Sorry - these are bad times we are going through.
Jobs are moving to far East (seen from Germany where I
live) but maybe some employers should remember the
words of Henry Ford "Cars don't buy cars"
Thank you for the nice emblem
I'll send a present to the states soon where I can use
it for twins to be born in December

Thank you and I'm sorry about your job. My son works in Germany and everything that I sew for my granddaughter I stitch in a label that says "Made in the USA". I found a piece of fabric with 1 1/2" diameter circles with this slogan so I applique one on the facings of clothing.

I've worked at Whirlpool in Arkansas for 29 years, at one time a few years ago we had over 4000 people in my plant, now right at 1000, they told us today the plant is closing in a few months, our jobs are going to Mexico

aleene by aleene 27 Oct 2011

Whirlpool has caused a few more factories in Arkansas to close. I hate it for our friend and all the people! I live in NW Arkansas.

prayer for you and your family. And attach this design on everything that I make from now on.
