How much time does the service guy / repair company get?

1. to call you back on what is wrong
2. time to fix in house (regular repair)
3. time to fix out house (garantie - sending to producer)

Just itchy my machine is gone since Saturday and I what a message on anwsering machine when I come home from the office tomorrow.

Depends on your technician/dealer!
My 4000D has been at the repair shop two weeks now, and they still have not got it going right. This is it's second visit, I was without it for a month last time and it wasn't working right when it came back. And they are a six hour drive one way!

Machines are repaired/services by the first come first serve method. It really won't help to make a plea of I need it now as everyone else does too. So sit back be patient and make your Christmas to do list...that's what I'm doing as my machine is in shop. Hopefully I'll have all projects laid out when I get that ready call....can hardly wait.
Hugs, Karen

Thanks Karen, have desided to do hand quilting while machine is gone, geting on with gifts is a good idea too

If my machine has a problem and goes to the shop, it takes two weeks or 14 days, which ever comes first.

ha ha ha, no way just the regular 15min blessings and daily routine - got lots of other "fun" stuff to do - can pick it up on Saturday with hubby - machine is ready (Wendsday) jumping up and down

You have all my sympathy. My machine was working overtime the last week or so and last night I knew the noise was more than just a complaint. Serious tension problems. Well she was due for a service just not now. So I ask time of from work to take my baby to hospital (my boss has a good sense of humor), luckily they collect them in our area on a Tuesday. I begged to have it back by Friday (can only get it back on a Friday or Tuesday). So I am sitting on edges I can really do with the weekend to catch up on the backlog - O boy otherwise I am in real trouble.

Probably depends on how many machines he has ahead of you and if they take them in the order they come in. Sometimes turnaround time can be a few weeks where I live. Hope you hear something soon.

I think this depends on where you live. You have reminded me my first machine is away being fixed and I am missing it. I will collect it next time I visit my youger daughter. Hope you dont have to wait too long
