ITH CHRISTMAS STOCKING-

As requested with a 2011



(just changed the year on the design)



Fell free to change the wording,

or add your own designs. That is why I did the colour changes.



Instructions; with Merry Christmas



ITH Stocking

done in 2 hoopings



1st hooping

1. hoop stabiliser

and stitch out 1st colour

This is the placing line for the

back part of your stocking.

Now spray your stabiliser

and place your fabric down.

stitch out colour 1 -

take out of machine and trim away

all extra fabric-

do not remove form hoop.

Place back onto machine and stitch

2nd colour.



Back of stocking is done.

(remove your backng from the back

and set aside till later.)



2nd hooping

Hoop as the 1st hooping -

stitch colour 3

this is the placing line-

cut off all extra fabric,

dont forget to cut in the middle

of the hanging ring as well.



stitch colour no 4 - satin stitch

for the ring/hanger

stitch colour no 5. -Will stitch 2011

stitch colour no 6 - wording on stocking.

stitch colour no 7. this is the opening edge

and the line between the wording.



Now remove hoop from machine

do not remove from the hoop



take your 1st hooping and line it up

on the back part of your hoop.

see that your opening lines meet.



I used a bit of spay to hold it.



Now place back onto machine

stitch colour no 8 - this will join the

2 parts

stitch colour no 9 - satin stitch around

the stocking.



Your stocking is now complete.
