I will be praying for all the CUTE family during this time and all the rest of the people of the US - that will be effected by the storm. Rick is watching non-stop news on Irene.

I saw this post and at first I thought what a terrible thing to say about Irene.

THEN I put my brain into gear. DOH!!!!!! ROFLMBO!!!!

---------------------------------------------------
I do hope it will peter out before it gets a chance to do any harm. I will be praying for everyone.
Hugs and prayers, Meganne

I'm ready!!!!!!

Get to sew Barbie clothes with a fairly new Singer hand crank machine I bought 2 years to use while camping. Bad weather cannot keep us "CRAFTY" people idle, between knitting, sewing, hand embroidery, sewing Barbie clothes, blankets, quilts, pillow cases, kid's clothes on the hand cranker, etc.

Never a moment to just sit and do nothing:):)

Thinking of you all from a long way away. I heard someone interviewed on the news who said it could create a 100-year type of flood. Let's hope not. Best of luck to all in its path.

Keeping up with it on the news, hard to believe such a storm is going on when in Texas we are in a very severe drought. A lot of the state is declared a disaster area because of the heat and lack of water. Ranchers are selling off their livestock because there is nothing to feed them. Take care, be safe and know prayers are being said for the whole east coast.

107 today in Texas. Yards are crunchy and I have lost all my herbs and roses.can't go outside to water. But this is trivial compared to the well being of humans.I am praying for everyone in the path of this storm.Stella
