I have just seen Megans wonderfull printed on canvas cushion and wondered if some of you would like to do similar.sonetimes it is the sheer cost of the specialist paper that puts folk of attempting this kind of work. even printing of a small photo can become costly if you do not know how to print in one small section of it with ease. so let me try to explain how to do it

ok you have the picture you wish to use ready to print onto whatever. may be you would like to do a tiny photo for a dolls house or one a special size but not want to use all the sheet through the printer. NO PROBLEM.
position the picture center screen then simply print onto normal copy paper but in draft, no colour and fast print to save money.
next DO NOT ALTER ANYTHING ON THE DESIGN. measure up the printed picture and then add one inch all around so you end up with a half inch border beyond the picture.
now cut out this size from the speciality paper. ( No need to use the rest through the rollers.) place the speciality paper over the top of the draft printed picture with half inch border all around it and tape it in place useing the border allowance for this purpose.
Next go back to the computer and select to print again but this time in colour, DO NOT MOVE THE POSITION OF THE PAGE ON THE SCREEN. replace the allready printed sheet of paper back into the printer with the speciality paper the correct way up for your printer so that the picture is printed in the same place as it first was. Hit the print button
Now the picture is being printed onto the speciality paper.
this way you can use allmost every bit of the speciality paper and so save money, even the long slim bits can be used to make wonderfull book markers.
hope this will help you to be a bit more adventurouse and also save a little bit of money at the same time.

Similarly when I use treated fabric, I only use a piece the size I need for the picture. It irons onto a sheet of A4 freezer paper and the printer is non the wiser!
