Can someone please tell me what the bookmarks are for and how to use them?

Great answer shirlene. Yes using the tags would help us sort through them.

great description Shirlene! Everyone should still use care in downloading from a new site until you have scanned it with your virus software. I haven't found any in our bookmarks, but it is better to be safe than sorry. ;)

glenda, the bookmarks are a way to show others here - web site that we go to - to purchase, download, & inspire us to do our craft, so to speak - if you want to share a site that you like - that you know is safe to send us to - that you would recommend to a good friend or family member if they were sitting in your living room. It also allows us to put tags in it - so that we can locate all the sites that have that same tag - so let's say - you wanted to recommend cutembroidery.com - you would enter that site in the link area - then type in a description: CUTE designs, redwork, alphabets, lace & applique, projects, Q&A, and and daily freebies. Great location for inspiration and embroidery chatter. Your tags would be: designs, redwork, alphabets, lace, applique, projects, dailyfreebies. Does that help? The tags are a tool to assist us to look back through, of coarse - look through the pages - to see if the site has already been listed. Use the tags to help, as it brings up any sites that might have that tag in it as well.

But I noticed that I have a tag place under my name. What is this for and how do you get tags under there?
