i have corel drawings x3 wilcom deco studio and pe design 7

GREAT question ;)

Let's take an example. Capital T large with tessa across.I put in the large T first. Then put 'tes number of spaces ta' (or divide the name in two parts -makes tessa a bad example as it has 5 letters-, put in 'tes' and 'sa' separately) and place them the way I want.

no i need a tutorial lol

I have done these with Artista Software and with it, I put the Large beginning initial down first and then the name across it in a place that doesn't distort the beginning letter and then I removed overlapping stitches...well, actually I click on an icon and the software removed overlapping stitches.;)

it is where the first letter of your name is big centered and then your name across it

I'm not sure I'm familiar with the expression "stacked names"... what does that mean Mary? ;-) Welcome back!
