Thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it. I now have a couple ideas and will see what design I can come up with. I have StitchEra so after I get it figured out and stitched out, I will post so you all can see.

Embroidery Library has a couple of dance designs that might work for you, especially if paired with the word "dance".

Turquoise has a new free design on her blog of a cute bear at dance class. I don't think it's too girly.

I belive I would just sitch out DANCE in large letters. Add some shoes or a hat perhaps.
