Oh it was wonderful seeing my gorgeous Grands, they are normally so quiet I got a real buzz from them enjoying themselves so much. :-)))

It's 11:23 pm here - Aug. 13. Happy Birthday (It's also my GD's birthday and she's been counting down the days for past 3 weeks).

Wish your GD a very Happy Birthday from Australia for me. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be young enough to still be counting down the days? LOL!!!!

Thank you all so much for your beautiful wishes, I am deeply touched to feel so loved and blessed to have so many beautiful friends.

I slept in very late (mid day LOL) on this my 62nd Birthday and I have woken to the beauty of life surrounding me, one cat sleeping on my torso, another sleeping up against my legs, a third sleeping on Daddy's side of the bed staring into my eyes as they opened. Don'cha just love four legged babies?

My wonderful Ray is building a storage cupboard for the ensuite so I can unpack all our bathroom stuff and he bought me a funny card, hiding a pretty coloured Aussie note, which he then tells me I can use to pay for my bowling and petrol this week. :-))) Men, gotta love 'em)

MIL also gave me a lovely card with a note inside but she didn't qualify how I should spend it. LOL!!!

Ebay here I come. hehehehe!!!

Well I'm off to make the most of my darling being here for the weekend.

Thanks Carolyn, every birthday brings its own memories and each one seems better than the last.

Well, it's 8PM Saturday here in Erie PA, so it's probably Sunday in OZ and not your birthday any more. BUT...my late husband Richard always said that if your birthday fell on Saturday or Monday, you were entitled to celebrate the Sunday, too. Of course, he said if it fell on Wednesday, you could celebrate for a whole week (he expected presents every day), hee hee hee. Hope it is/was/will be happy, and that you have happiness forever. Aw Thank you Sweetie. Please wish Alex and Isaac Happy Birthday from me too.
I had a lovely day yesterday, Greg, Emma and the kids visited and we had a birthday party. I made a cake and fairy bread and we had party pies and sausage rolls and lollies. The kids decorated my cake with lollies for me, and they brought me a huge bag of duck food. LOL!!!! Of course the ducks are a big draw card. Sophia and James raced back and forth along the top veranda and had the best time.

Lady howled and cried so loudly, she wanted to join in the fun but the kids are terrified of dogs, such a shame to not let kids have pets.

You have come a long way and with the help of our Lord, I pray that you continue your good health and constant abounding energy until you are at least 110! I guess by that age, it will be time for you to rest a bit and wind down some!!!!! You have a beautiful new home to relax and enjoy, a husband that is good to you and loves you and family and friends surrounding you! You are truely blessed!
