I bought some thread called threads r us that said that it would match up with the R-A thead. When it came in, it matched up with very few colors. Anybody know how to help me with this problem

Contact the company, let them know you weren't pleased. How will they know unless you tell them. Most companies have a customer service website.

I have never heard of Threads R Us - so can't help you. Maybe someone will see this a give you some help.
