Can anyone tell me if the price for Embrid Basic is a one time charge or do you have to pay it annually? I have looked and looked and can't find out, maybe I missed it. Thanks in advance.

I agree with Meganne below.. purchase from secrets of.. do your shopping wisely with them..
example if you purchase $30 you get a free set.
so worth puchasing separetly and gaining free sets..
also you get secret points.. when I purchased
My embird , fonts, and studio I then had enough points to get Iconizer for free..
so worth thinking about how you shop with them
I love embird would def recommend it :-)

Squeaky,
It is one time pricing for the basic Embird, and a one time charge for each of the plug-ins you wish to get to go with it! I have basic Embird and its Iconizer plug-in, and I do not know how I ever did machine embroidery without it! Should I ever wish to digitize, I can purchase the Studio portion, but do not feel the need to digitize, as we have so many talented digitizers already and beautiful designs to choose from!
I purchased my Embird from the Embird site, and I have gotten good customer service from Balarad, who owns the site. I purchased the Embird CD for $10 and downloaded it to my computer. It has the entire Embird programs, and when I choose to purchase a particular portion/plug-in, I make the purchase on their site and they email me a password to activate that portion. Updates to older versions are fairly inexpensive, too. I love Embird features, and was told by an experienced digitizer, who had learned on Embird, then purchased a very expensive Generations software later, to choose Embird. I am so glad I did.

You will save money if you purchase your licenses through Secrets of Embroidery, You will also receive points for every dollar you spend and every time you spend over $30 you get to choose a whole set of free designs so it is worth it to purchase each module license at separate times.
Don't forget to sign up for their mailing list first, it's free.

nope one time, however there are add ons that cost more money. Like if you add the digitizing program it is usually about the same as Embird basic. You can try the link below for more info, hugs Lisa

Thanks Lisa. You answered my question. I have downloaded the 30 day trial and I am really liking it so far. :)

I am also thinking of purchasing Embird software. I plan to download the trial
software. Is it easy to use and understand? I am not the most experienced in the computer department.
