I am going home to the UK soon and would like to make some personalised bookmrks, something fairly simple. I have looked t some of cuties projects but dont know how to access the designs. Thanks

Are you looking for a blank FSL bookmark - so that you can put a design or name on it?

Yes, I would like the template preferably with a scaooped edge so that I can put my own design on it. I have one bookmark which measures 4cm x 9cm (approx) but would like something a little larger.

I don't know what kind of bookmarks you are looking for. If you like FSL (free standing lace), there are some fabulous ones at the site below. Click on "free designs" and then scroll down about 2/3 of the way of the page. They are under "Lesezeichen", right side of page. I just made a bunch as gifts, and they stitched out beautifully! There are also lots of tutorials on this site. This is just one of many sites. Enjoy.

My home base will be in the Midlands where I was born and lived until I emigrated to Australia in 1967. My sister still lives in the Midlands but other members of the family are scatter throughout.

Projects shows things we have sewn, but the free designs created by members are shown under Designs By Cuties. There are also free designs shown on the home page that are able to be downloaded. You need to be signed in for both of these options. If you have a paid membership there are even more designs available for you to download. Try starting from the tabs on the left when you are on the home page.

There is some lovely designs under Designs by Cuties, I have got up to page 50 and still searching may be for the impossible. I will give it away today and try again tomorrow.
