There are so many designs that I would like to try but right now I really want one of the bride ones. Thank you for any help/advice you can give me on this. Hugs! ~ Sherry ~

What ever you do do not save the changed design back in the folder you have taken it from. What I do is copy the design to your desktop then when you have finished changing it save it back to your desktop again that way you still have your original in your folder. You will have to read the directions under help when you pull your design into the TrueSizer screen. It will tell you what you need to do. I also have TureSizer & have not used it to reduce designs or enlarge as my Ped Basic Box will do that for me. I can reduce my design to 90% from 100% or enlarge to 120% then my machine can also reduce or enlarge. I don't know if it would make a difference if I did one in the Ped Box like increase then increase again in my machine. But would surely do a test stitch out. Good luck!

Or you could change the name of the design by adding a number or letter to it

hmmm, I have the Ped Basic Box and didn't know that you could change the size. I thought it was just to transfer designs from computer to machine.... now I really have to do an internet search and learn more about it. Only had the thing for 2 years, feel like an idiot. lol Thank you! :)

From the help manual- Trusizer: After any transformation, stitches are regenerated and the original stitch density preserved. Only native EMB designs contain the complete set of design information required for 100% perfect scaling and transformation. However, it can remove stitches that are too small, but that could ruin your design. ArtLink by Bernina claims:
As a design is scaled, the stitch count changes to preserve the current stitch spacing. No more that 20% scaling in either direction.
Only native ART designs contain the complete set of design information required for 100% perfect scaling and transformation.

So guess the only way to see if the end result is acceptable to to try one out as a test.

I've found that it does not reduce the stitch count - I don't know if I have missed something in the method though.

Thank you. If you tried it with a design did it stitch out okay? Hmmm, maybe I will just try it. I won't be home until tomorrow night and don't have access to my program to reduce - need this done by Sunday so guess I can try it. "keeping fingers crossed" :)

Read the Help menu in the TrueSizer suedewsbury. I know it is a lot to take in expecially when we just want to work on our projects. That is why I don't try to change much if I can help it.
