Clover makes a product called Quick Bias that is a fusible tape and you can purchase it in 1/4 width. It makes beautiful "stained Glass" looking quilts and worked well joining this design. I just zig zagged together first and then ironed on.;)

Carol - that's feels weird, I feel like I've called you mollymarie for so long. Have a look at my hummingbird project, the link is below. It looks to me, by your avatar, that you have a Janome 300E, which means you can stitch the four designs in one go, if you have a giga hoop. If you need any more help, just *holler* in my direction, and I'll be more than willing sweetie, hugs and a flower, and have fun with the hummingbird, I know I did!

MollieMarie, Ruthie did that one and put it in the projects section when it first came out, and I think she described how she did it. She'll probably come and tell you soon. Good luck, it's surely beautiful!! Marji

I did one before of Lily of the Valley. I stitched the four pieces together and the did a narrow and very close satin stitch between the pieces and also all around. I left some border fabric around it and framed it. "ron111otter" has done some very very lovely ones. Hopefully she will come on and give you better ideas. I love that one to and I may even get it someday too. *4U ><>

I join mine together with a zig-zag stitch, and then I used to cover that with
satin stitch. But now I've discovered a
fusible tape, 6mm wide, so I just iron that on, and it gives it a perfect
finish. That way is quicker, and saves
a lot of thread.
