I got a beautiful bottle bag in red a green felt with Merry Christmas embroidered on it and 2 tree orniments one with a lovely snow man and the other a sweet little stocking with santa on both beautifully made ,thank you very much to my SS.

12843I received my generous gift of several off-white kitchen towels with a lovely red star design on the bottom (red is the accent color in my kitchen - yay!). Also a scented sachet, 2 holiday buttons and a set of fabric strips. Hubby took off on vaca with our camera, but I plan to post a photo upon his return. Thank you so much Secret Santa. I am sure you gave a great gift. Its hard when we don't know the tastes of the person who will recieve our gift. I just lookat it as one of several things....
maybe they are shy or don't have computer access on a regular basis, and maybe they don't know how to post a picture, or don't have a camera that allows them to. I wouldn't take it personally. Since I've started playing SS, I've had the person I was SS to not even acknowledge that they recieved their gift on here either at least once.

22354Oh my goodness! My Secret Santa has really been busy. What a lovely bag I received today. A lovely big bag that can be taken with me to my sewing group. It will hold my quilt and just about everything I need! I LOVE it. It is lined, has a pocket and even has my name on it and I have to say - this is the first time I have seen an embroidery with Mylar. It is gorgeous. 211078Here is my Secret Santa gift! There are 4 beautiful little mitten ornaments with embroidered mylar snowmen, 2 cell phone and change purse sets, all in such a cute Secret Santa Bag! I haven't tried embroiding on mylar yet, but these little snowmen are so cute that I'm tempted to give it a go. SS even has a sense of humor--in my email I had said it didn't matter if the gift was Christmas-themed or if it had seashells, and one of the phone & coin purse sets was made with seashell fabric! I laughed so hard when I saw that one! My poor DH didn't have a clue as to why I was laughing.
This has been such fun, Sue. I enjoyed making a gift for a stranger just as much as I enjoyed receiving one. Thanks for coordinating all of this.

24342We woke up to snow on the ground this morning, so does that count as a white Christmas :) (it never snows in Hawera, well almost never. I was told tonight the last time was in 1968!)
Isn't my picture absolutely gorgeous! I don't think the photo does it justice, it really is beautiful, the fabric is shot with silver, and the stitching is stunning. The card is stitched in varigated thread and the two angels fell out of the card when I opened it. I feel blessed to have received such a lovely gift. Thankyou to both my SS and Sue for organising it all.

Since my explanation didn't have the a picture I will add here. The Ornament with the FSL wrap is of the Mother and Child. I collect Nativities so this is sooooo perfect. The FSL Angel has a little charm hanging from it. The coasters are really cute. The refrigerator ornament had a lovely prayer for my family tucked inside.

What a gift to treasure. SS you have a talent with miniatures. This is the most personalized gift for raels. I looked close at all 3 pictures posted & love the box with the sewing machine with raels name on the box as well as the throw on the chair. The packages on the rug with the Joy must have been very difficult to do in such a small rug. Loved the galand on the mantel & the view through the window & of course the nice chair & the effect that it looks like there is a fire in the fireplace too. Nice job SS!!!

Nice kitchen towel to hang on you stove. Looks to pretty to use but will look nice on the stove at Christmas. Great job SS.

Yes dlonnahawkins I always get inspired when I see all the lovely things being made just like when I go to my quilt club I get pumped & have to go home & get to work on a quilt. Love this gift great job SS.
