Time wil tell - if they become interested later on in life - just do what you need to do - to make yourself happy - with the machine that you have. Learn it and use it. *4U

Briauna. I had a serger 3 yrs 'fore I used it. Once I started I wouldn't be without it. It stays up all the time like my embr/sewing machine.Don't know how old your girls r but r their any g kids yet? If so there's always hope *4U
