Oh, I am soooo happy!! On Earth Day, Mother Earth has given ME a present!! I took a walk in my woods, and there, where they've NEVER been before, was a little clump of triliums!! They're a protected species here in USA, and they've come to me, knowing I'll do everything I can to help them flourish! Maybe my DH sent them, do you think? I could not be more grateful for this unbelievable gift of life. Happy Earth Day, everyone!!!! Marji

God has given us a beautiful world to live in & we have created so much havoc. So right on ruthie let's do what we can to keep it green & beautiful. My brown garden is green now & that's 1 reason my arthritis is kicking. Been hoeing & digging

Google has a great design for their logo today for Earth Day. We have had rain the last few days so we are very green today. We will have hay to mow if it doesn't give us a break. But we thankful it isn't drought or snow! When summer really gets here we will be wishing for the rain.

Yes, Ruthie let us celebrate 'Earth Day' - what a great way to give back by cleaning up - what other's have trashed - we can make it new again. *4U

I'd love a *green* day, but unfortunately my garden is very brown due to the drought. Today I’m going to pull-up a few weeds, make an early start on the winter pruning and water my trees with bucket after bucket of recycled water. It’s a beautiful 25C (77F) temp today, so perfect for being in the garden. Also when we go for our walk around our lake (we still call it a lake, even though sadly it doesn’t have a drop of water in it), we’ll take a rubbish bag with us and clean up all the rubbish we see. Our local council suggested this one, and I thought it was a good idea. Enjoy Earth Day everyone, hugs and flowers to you all.

I would love your brown garden more than my white garden. We got about 1/2 foot of snow atleast this week-end :((

Joanie, I don't much like my brown garden, but I know I'd only like your white one on a postcard, haha. Way too cold for me, I only like snow in very small doses - I like to be able to walk away from it when I start shivering!!! (((warm hugs))) and a flower for you sweetie.
