That is so cute and I don't even have any babies around!!I'm sure there will soon be lots of little girls with similar tutus.

I'm not sure either, but it is just gorgeous! I'm sure whatever you decide will work out just fine. Love the matching headband.

Great job....can hardly wait to see the Diva in this. You want it short, just to cover the onesie.

this looks so sweet and lovely! But as a former ballerina I should say, it has to become a bit shorter, make it just a little bit longer as the onesie is.And if you do have enough material perhaps even add one more layer of the tutu . But it's so lovely. Can you post a picture of the diva with this tutu also?

It looks wonderful!! The length depends on size of child. Most patterns I have state to measure from the waist to the knee for skirt length. I had found one that even stated lengths for ages, but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere now that someone else is asking. Figures!! Good luck!

I agree with Shirlene. Same length as onesie or a fraction shorter. Very Cute. Marg

If she is in a onsie - I would say - just below the bottom - to leave room for crawling and all that stuff.

I'd say put in on her and see how it works with her moving before you alter it. Headband is a nice touch.

I think this depends on the child. Is she walking or crawling? Shorter is better so she doesn't rip it while she's crawling. If she is so young she doesn't do either it doesn't matter as much. It looks adorable!

Tutus can be any length for real ballerinas so that doesn't matter. My daughter had one on a bathing suit when she was a baby and it was only about 2 inches long. I have some beautiful paintings of ballerinas in the 1950's with long ones below the knee and short ones that stick straight out.
