God bless you.
Hugs n roses, Meganne
What a gracious thing to do! This restores my faith in humanity that there are those that still share with those without! You may have started a new addiction with her...just like the rest of us....LOL Have a blessed day Charlotte :-)
Awesome, so nice someone who can really use it gets it! In making her happy you've also made yourself happy seeing someone so overjoyed at getting a machine all her own. I'm sure she will be making things right, left, and centre and next class will have some items to tell you about or even show you.
So good to hear that someone who didn't have her own machine got it. A double blessing, you for giving , and her for graciously receiving.
That was amazing! Thanks for sharing this with us. It is nice to see something "abandoned" going to someone that will appreciate it (and you).
Good job!!!! Now you know it has gone to a wonderful home. You did great! Still can't believe it was going in the trash before. You saved the machine and the lady!
That is just marvellous. My neighbour has collected unwanted machines and they are going to africa. Hope that someone can earn some money too using it. so very useful project!
Thrilled that the sewing machine has gone to a good home. May the new owner make some wonderful things.
How magnanimous of you michele! This will always be remembered by the person you gave it to. So glad someone got it that needed it & will use it./Lillian
I am so glad it went to someone who did not have a machine already! She will remember your generosity for a long time and respect you for it! I love when the recipient is grateful, it helps you to continue being a giving person. One of my joys is seeing the persons happiness when I give something like that to them.
Hugs!
Diane
What a lovely story, and how very nice for the lady that received something that she can really use!!
I am glad the machine went to someone "needy". I am sure the lady who received the machine will be eternally grateful and "pass it on". One good turn hopefully will blossom into another and good (all over) will be carried forward.
God Bless
Elizabeth
So happy to hear - that it went to someone that would and could use it - now tell us - how did you go about it - how was she selected in the first place?
I just walked in with it and asked who could use it, at first she kinda stayed back as everyone looked at it, some I knew had good machines so I kinda pulled her into the conversation, found out she was borrowing a machine from her mother, so it became hers. now she can give her mother's back and have her own.
That was so kind of you. I'm sure the lady that received it feels so blessed.
What a wonderful outcome for the almost discarded sewing machine. It such a reward to make someone happy.
i missed the first part of this story but i love the ending "it is more blessed to give then receive"carolyn
So glad to hear that it will be used by someone who needs it.
