The store where I bought it says I must use Brother bobbins, and they sell prewound bobbins, but all she said was they are 1/2" bobbins. No number or letter. Please can someone tell me if I need a M or an L bobbin? Or if they will work??? Thanx sew very much!!! I appreciate youns sew much! Hugs & Thanx, Judy

Judy not the M but class 15/A. Those are the ones a little higher. I ordered mine from Metro and use them on my small Brother (don't know the model)and on my Baby Lock Elegante. I ordered the plastic version and have no problem with them.

Thanx!!! That's what I was planning on getting, plastic, I do not think cardboard would work. Hugs, Judy

Judy: I have the brother 2003D machine and use the L bobbins from Metro in it. I also have the 750D machine which is right now in the box in my closet but will have to move things to get to it and see if it takes the SA155 also. There are 2 bobbins for the Brothers some are SA155 and some are SA156, The difference is the height of the bobbin. One is shorter than the other. Check your Brother book and see if your machine takes a SA155 bobbin. It will show that in your section of supplies that come with your book. If it takes the SA155 then you should be able to use the L bobbins. I haven't tried the L's in my 750D and have not used it for awhile. I'm not sure what the M's are. I only use the plastic L's since the cardboard ones may not read with your sensor. Hope this helps, or maybe someone else here has the 750D and can say for sure if they use them. Hugs from a fellow Judy

Just checked on the brother site and the PE750D uses SA156. Maybe Metro will be able to help.

You will need to order (Class 15/A)from Metro. Those are the bobbins that are a little higher than the L size.

I use #90 weight bobbin thread for my PE750 D. They sell the prewound bobbin at Allband in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. These bobbins are hard to find because of the thread weight.
