What a lovely group you are Chris. Thanks for sharing with us. I would love to have been there with you. BTW my grandson who was in Australia a while back & loved it so just got back from Equador. It was anothere job like Australia but rough for him there. He told me he had nothing cold for over 18 days. He was told not to drink the water, ice is water so no cold drinks for him. Some of the time was spent in the Andes. Had to laugh when he told me the first thing he did when his plane landed in Miami was to go & get a large cold coca cola./Lillian
Chris what a special time too spend with the ladies. We have a Thursday group that go out weekly, not always for High tea. But we meet and go out. Some Thursdays it is for the full day, if we are celebrating someones birthday.
Thanks for sharing this lovely picture with us.
Hugs and love Yvonne
Chris, what a great time you must have had - I have never been out for tea with friends or loved ones - only at home - wonder if there is even a place to go for tea around here? Love the photo - everyone looks wonderful. I see you Mum is wearing the shirt - that you sewed for her.
I'm sorry you haven't been to a high tea Shirlene. They are just so pretty. You have beautiful fine china. We all had different cups and all the food is bite sized (so it's very dainty). It's all served on cake platters. I've been to a couple here in Newcastle.
You are very observant - YES it is the shirt I made Mum! The only complaint she said is trying to do up the buttons as they are small and her right hand has arthritis. I said the next time I make one I'll make the buttonholes a bit bigger so we can use a larger button. Love and blessings Chris
What fun it looks like you are having. And I love High Tea. My girls have taken me to the HighTea held at Disney a couple times. Such a great time.
Thanks Beth, it was such a fun day. As I said our Priest has a wicked sense of humour and we laughed out loud at a lot of the things she said. Good to laugh and still be ladies!!! Love Chri
Great looking Crew..You would never know she is sick She looks so great! Your mom looks might fine too. All you ladies do. Looks like you had a great time too. Suzanne
Chris, you are so right about enjoying life and all its blessings. It looks like you all could get into trouble if you had a mind to. Isn't laughter wonderful? Thanks for sharing you day with us. Hugs, Judy
I think if we were let loose there would be a few red faces!!! Lucky for us that we can laugh at ourselves. Love Chris
