I am glad you were able to work it out. It's a great tool and opens up a whole new world you couldn't reach before.

I tried slow redraw as well and the buttons Play, etc. stay grey too. So that parts does work not for me.

mops by mops 13 Apr 2008

I just worked it out. You have to switch to 'show outline' just under help and then the buttons turn black.

joaniessw by joaniessw 13 Apr 2008

strange. It worked both ways for me?!

have you been able to open up a design? once you do that, click on "View" at top of screen, on drop down click on "Slow Redraw" a little screen opens up ontop, choose how fast/slow you want and press play. that easy.

yes, I just learned that today too. click "Edit" then on drop down menu click "select all" (or just click on the little icon at top beside "print preview". your pic will turn white with the little squares on outer edge of design. left click on one holding click down move mouse up/down/sideways... you will see pic getting larger/smaller/longer/etc. *4U2

I have used it a lot and found it only messed up a couple of times... it's definitely a tool every embroiderer should have. BTW, HELLO JOANIE! (I'm shouting from San Diego, can you hear me) lol ;-) xoxo

Any how, just playing with it this morning. It is a gr8 freebee. You can not only change the start point of a design, but rotate at 45o increments, flip horizontal or diagonal and watch the design being stitched out at any speed. Sew kewl, just had to share with you ladies

See, you can learn something new, when you try.

mops by mops 13 Apr 2008

You can rotate by 1 degree increments , just type in the number in the box to the right of the rotation picture. And next to that one is a box to skew your design. Nice to do with lettering.

joaniessw by joaniessw 13 Apr 2008

Ok, had to play with it to figure it out. Put the degree in the box then click "Enter" on key board. Kewl. TY. Is there no way to copy and paste something in this program tho? :( *4U
