This is a recall from a while back. Machine made from 1999-2004. The recall was 2006. The site list serial numbers. I had one I had a problem and the part they mentioned was replaced. The owners were notified if you registered your machine. You can use the link below if you are having trouble finding it.

I had the whole address typed in when I submitted but it cut off all of the extensions. At the Viking site just look for Designer recall information or type in what joanie has above. It worked for me.

Thanks for the heads up. It applies to mine, but on the Dutch Husqvarna site there is as yet no warning. I'll phone my dealer first thing tomorrow. Flower for you.
