and FSL around the edges. My question is...how is the lace attached with a rolled hem when the lace edge is not straight? I hope this is clear, don't know how else to word it! I've been a little afraid to try to make one for fear of messing it up. Thanks for your help.

Hmmm, I'm no expert (lol, I've done it once!) but, this is how I did it - I hooped the "paper" type of WSS (not the plastic looking stuff) I then placed the fabric on top. My design was made to be a doily with a fabric center, so I ran the first "thread color" which was a tack down/outline. I then trimmed very closely to this stitching, making sure I didn't cut the stabilizer. DON'T remove it from the hoop! Just remove it from the machine. This is the fabric center - the rest of the "thread numbers" are the FSL which appliqued/ attached onto the edge of the fabric. The design has the "rolled edge" already on the lace - it is done for you already by the digitizing. Does this help? Or did I answer a question that you didn't ask? ;-D ✿4U

I only have a 5x7 hoop. Would I have to re-hoop every 5ins. and re-stitch the design to go all the way around the fabric center? Or is there an easier way?

Yikes, I'm not sure - you could find a small enough design to fit the 5x7 just to try. I haven't done the rehooping thing yet and it sort of scares me! LOL! Sorry.

Good question. I am looking forward to learning this as well. My edges are never right.
