I have so many beautiful fonts, and never sure how they will stitch out on towels. I went to a thrift store and bought cheap towels of different weights. I use them to do my test stitches on.

if you do, just embroider them with the names of your family-members.If they turn out well, then everyone has also his or hers own towel,than they are useful too!

Great idea, D! Have you ever done toile on towles? Love some advice, late DH's daughter getting married (yippeee!), she has a 'seashore' bathroom. thanks. Marji

Marji, I have to say NO! I do not know what toile is. I am sure someone elce will beable to help you. I have embroideried some beautiful sea shells on bathroom towels. They came out very nice. How old is daughter, and what is the wedding day? H.*.
